please make daytime stop

i didn't sleep well at all last night. i woke up at 2:45 and didn't get back to sleep until close to 5.

however, i did have a very interesting dream in which i was in some large park, and the elephants from the circus were being kept there. there was a man there who was their trainer, and it was time to feed them, so he whistled for them to come. a crowd was developing to watch the elephants approach, and i realised with shock that there was no fenced-in area; the elephants were free-roaming. and they were hungry. and they were probably going to charge. some 10 year-old kid wouldn't listen to my verbal warning to move back, so i grabbed him and dragged him back and thrust him toward his parents. just then, the elephants came stampeding by, and there was quite the sensation.

i also dreamt that there was an escaped lovebird that i had lured into a cage, and every time i tried to change its water, it would get out. the water was filthy.

lastly, i dreamt that i was late giving marc a wake-up call because i overslept. :P

then i woke up (on time) and gave marc a wake-up call. my salvation is that i'm not walking to work today; marc's going to give me a ride. this is good for two reasons: 1. i would probably slip on the mostly-downhill walk and break my neck, and 2. if i miraculously didn't slip, i would pass out from exhaustion and break my neck.
