franz ferdinand

franz ferdinand are very fun live. i recall finding them "stiff" on the live dvd i have (which is all from the first album). either my memory is way faulty, or they have loosened up incredibly. there was some weirdness in the crowd, but for now i will focus on the kind of awesome: there was a couple there with a small child, maybe five or six years old. they were up against the railing. the boy had earplugs in, and a t-shirt that said "the littlest fan" on the back. he enjoyed the hell out of that show, even if he did kick me a billion times (unintentionally) whenever his dad was holding him. he was much better behaved than some of the adults in the crowd.

i'd see franz ferdinand again, totally.

the openers were born ruffians, from toronto. they were interesting, but all over the place. there were a lot of things about them i liked. and then there were other things. i'll have to check out their studio stuff to see whether i like them or not.

but franz ferdinand... them i enjoyed greatly.

time for bed. must work tomorrow. :P

tl;dr craigslist ad for roommate-situation-wanted.
it's too long. but i read it. and it's funny. don't think i'd want this roommate. well, i'd be rejected out of hand since i'm a north american woman.
