i'm not sure what i love more about this video: colm's violin playing, or glen's bare feet bouncing around. in any case, i'm kind of infatuated with this version.

i really need to get a frames-related icon.

i will now force myself to put on music and accomplish things, rather than spend more time detachedly preoccupied with morbidness. :P

levity

so i am not a very organised person. well, in some ways i am (books and cds alphabetical when there's room, for example). but when it comes to things like my desk, well... no. definitely not. i'm in the process of trying to find my spare phone charger, which means i took a drawer out of my desk and put it on the floor and am rummaging through the endless amount of stuff.

in an old contract from work (2003), i found a little memo pad sharing the envelope. i recognised at as the memo pad i was keeping photo notes in from the trip to scotland. the very first page says the following:

"this is a test
of the emergency
pen-writing
system

if this had been
an actual emergency,
the pen would not
have worked."


at the top of the next page it says "seamus o'cloudy" :)
