well, it snowed for just over 24 hours. i think it's finally stopped. i guesstimate a foot has fallen. i suppose i should count myself lucky that we didn't get the 15-20 inches they were predicting at one point. consequently, i had no work today, and i have no work tomorrow. i would have called out today if we hadn't had a snow day. then, after today was a snow day, i would have probably called out tomorrow. either way, i'm going in friday. hopefully by then i'll be All Better.
i have surpassed the RDA for curry powder today.
i spent the day in very lazy fashion, if i don't have to count the five rounds of shoveling i did. i say they don't count, unless people *want* me to have been active... in which they count a lot. other than that, i watched tv, chatted, and geeked over the weather. tomorrow i expect i'll do much the same.
the other semi-unlazy thing i did was to make curried mashed potatoes. they were good.
i'll stay up a bit longer, and then i'm hoping to get a reasonable amount of sleep. the past few nights haven't been so good in that department.
please let it hit 70F degrees outside tonight so that all the snow melts by morning! </magical wishful thinking>
