i thought there was a plot? i must be mistaken.

so this morning i had plans to hang out with f., to grab breakfast and hit the bird store so she could get food for her cockatiel, lovebird, and budgie. her husband was going to pick me up at 10. at 8:45, i hit the shower and when i got out, i had 2 missed calls and voicemail... his plans had changed, could he pick me up now? so i zoomed around to get ready and was out of the house in about fifteen minutes.

there was yummy breakfast and a trip to the bird store (yes, i flirted with macaws), and a trip to the bookstore. there was tiredness, and an early drop off, and i ate lunch, and watched some of the original fame, and had a nap. i've spent the rest of the day exhausted and not really doing anything at all (except finishing fame and gawking at the frightening wardrobe in that film...)

oh, there was also fielding quite a few emails about my mystery birds, which seem to be saffron finches. another birder in the area saw them on monday.

i think i'm going to make it an early night. i seem to still be in the red column on sleep, and i'd like to make it into the black.

oh. also, there's a frost warning for tonight. *sigh* and the winds continue through tomorow. pfeh.
