chimney swifts

tonight i visited the local staging area for chimney swifts.

for approximately 75 minutes, we watched approximately 2300+ chimney swifts all fly into the same chimney. it was awesome.

also saw common nighthawks, which are also awesome. but fewer, far fewer.
