my old, broken watch that i've been unable to wear since the beginning of september is apparently somewhere in my living room

i know this because the alarm just went off.

i haven't been awake to hear it in months.

as long as i'm here (but on my way to bed), i will note that my email program crashed again today, and after spending an hour trying to restore it, i was successful but i lost of my email from the past two weeks. this is very frustrating. that process left me ill-equipped to do things like comments and replies tonight. so i'll try those again tomorrow.
