looks abstract, but is actually concrete

this is looking straight down at the river, which had some weird freezing swirly stuff going on. and it was some sort of mixed wintry precipitation when i took the photo, so that's what you're seeing there. not orbs.

by the time i took a break at around 11am today, there was already a coating of glaze on everything. the serious icing is still to come.
