another day at the farm

unfortunately, a lot of the photos i took today were washed out. i guess it was due to the sun. in any case, i ended up liking this better in greyscale.

in between birding, i helped out with a clean-up effort today. it's amazing the things people throw into the woods. >:P i retrieved, among other things, a golf ball, a lightbulb (?), a flower pot, part of a tire, some cans and bottles, and individual facial features meant to be put on a tree - enough for at least two trees.

i also brought home a scratch on my face. in an odd twist of fate, said scratch came from... brambles.
