on functioning?

i woke up about 37 hours ago in california. had a lovely day, then flew home on the delayed red-eye. arrived in nj just after 7am, then spent a few hours going home, on delayed trains. got home and it was about 85F in the house, so i waited a few hours for it to cool down enough for me to take a nap. (zelda was very happy.)

then i had a two-hour nap. i made myself go to the grocery store to pick a few things up.

but yes, 2 hours sleep out of the past 37.

however, i was sitting at the computer when tim minchin's crew posted to facebook that he's playing in nyc i november and there was a presale.

so now i have a ticket to go see tim minchin in november. score!
