ice ice baby

it's not bad here, but i get to have a delayed opening because of the ice storm.

i'm gonna go take a nap now.

but i am very excited that it's garbage night. how sad.

i'm really tired today, and i am attributing it to the weather. also, i should probably set my new boots on fire, but i *like* them. eventually, they will stop injuring me. i think.

since i had a ride to work today, i was able to bring the blanket-in-progress to work today to show the secretary. it's important to do whatever you can whenever you can to get on her good side because she's pretty mercurial. i noticed last month that she had a crochet project in her office, so i started a conversation, and she wanted to see what i was working on. she was more than suitably impressed. i expect her to be nice to me for several days.

after work today, i played around on facebook with marc for a little bit, and ate some dinner and finished watching the third project catwalk.

i'm pretty sure all the night has left for me is garbage. rather, disposing of it. then i plan to head to bed no later than 10:30. i really do need to catch up on sleep.
