tired....

- so there were fireworks for me three nights in a row. thursday: my town. friday: neighboring town. saturday: macy's fireworks. they were over the hudson this year so i had an even better view than in previous years. there are advantages to living at the top of a hill. okay, that might be the only advantage.

- went birding this morning. two red-tailed hawks, one osprey, yellow warblers, one forster's tern, several egrets (great and snowy), bla bla bla.

- took a terrible nap this afternoon. i woke up after forty-five minutes, with a headache and absolutely freezing. not sure what that's about.

- my vacation is over. back to work tomorrow. july is looking to be ... well ... not awesome at work. i hope i'm wrong.

- waiting for dinner to finish cooking, then probably off to bed early.
