ode to a toe in july

i had forgotten that july is break-your-toe month! how could i have forgotten?

oh, toe... would that you were whole! i hardly knew you in this incarnation (your second? third? fourth?)

alas. *sigh*


i'm fine. i've had worse toe breaks. worse on this toe, in fact, also in a july! there's even a slight possibility that i've only sprained it. not very much impact on function. i'm just exasperated. :P
later, if i'm in the mood, there will be "ode to a toe-breaking door".
