so i'm sitting here, watching eclipse (as you do), when yet another reason to laugh at this franchise emerges...

someone needs to tell jackson rathbone that jasper was never a member of the "calvary".

these are piles of snow from the post-christmas blizzard, that were dumped on the road that i regularly go birding on. these are piles of snow on that road, being snowed on by the small snowstorm we had today. even after all the melting, some of those piles are taller than i am. the "hill" behind it is a former landfill. i usually get good raptors hunting on it.

i fell for the second time about two minutes after i took that photo. :P
