today's life birds

magnolia warbler, wilson's warbler, orchard oriole, spotted sandpiper

possibly this other pair of birds i am baffled by. i will have to post the not-great photos i have of them so i can solicit help from some of the bird groups i belong to. they were cute, though.

weird weather day

today i went birding and pretty much as soon as i got there, a thunderstorm hit. i hung out i the building with a cockatiel and then went back out to eat my breakfast under the gazebo-type structure. then it was warm and sunny and breezy.

i came home and had a nap, and by the time i got up the wind had really started. earlier this evening, i lost power a few times. the wind seems to be dying down, but it's chilly now.

i'm hoping tomorrow isn't too windy. i'm hanging out w/ f. and it would be nice if we could hang out outside. we'll see.
